About

What is
Peighton Collective?

Hi

I'm the person behind Peighton Collective. No, you won't find my face here. That's intentional.

I started this because I kept running into the same problem. I'd look something up: a skincare ingredient, a wellness habit, a product everyone was recommending, and the information I found was either too vague to be useful or clearly written to sell me something.

I wanted a place that just told me the truth. So I built one.

What this actually is

Peighton Collective is where I write about beauty, wellness, intentional living and nutrition. Not in a perfectly curated, aspirational way. In a real way.

I write about the skincare routine that finally worked after years of getting it wrong. The eating habits that stuck when every other approach didn't. The morning that looked nothing like the morning routine I thought I should have, and why that turned out to be fine.

I also write about building a content brand without showing your face, because that's what I'm doing and I figure if I'm figuring it out someone else might find it useful too.

Every post starts with something I genuinely wanted to know. The research goes deep enough to actually answer the question. And if something didn't work for me I say that, even if it has thousands of five-star reviews.

A few things about me

I have oily, combination skin that I spent years treating as oily and making worse. I eventually figured out it was dehydrated. That kind of thing, where the obvious answer turns out to be wrong, is what I find most interesting to write about.

I enjoy baking on Sunday afternoons, watching Korean dramas, reading, and drawing on my iPad when I have a quiet hour. I travel when I can and I am slowly learning to travel more slowly.

I think about food more simply than I used to. I've been building habits long enough to know which ones actually last and which ones just look good in a routine.

I'm building this brand faceless because the content feels more honest that way. The work stands on its own or it doesn't.

Who you'll find here

If you've landed on this page you're probably someone who:

  • Thinks before you buy and wants to know why something actually works, not just that it does
  • Has spent money on products that didn't do what they claimed and is tired of it
  • Is interested in intentional living without the performance of intentional living
  • Cares about what you eat but doesn't want eating to become a whole thing
  • Is building something online and doing it quietly, without an audience yet

That's who I write for. Because that's who I am.

On transparency

Some posts here contain affiliate links. When you buy through one I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only link to things I would personally use or have personally tested.

Affiliate income helps keep the site independent. It doesn't change what I write about or how I evaluate anything. You can read the full affiliate disclosure here.
