My evening routine isn’t curated. I want to say that before describing it, because most evening routine content makes it sound like a ritual worth aspiring to, and mine is really just the handful of things I do most nights because they happen to feel good.
I wash my face and go through a short skincare routine, nothing elaborate. I use a couple of facial tools, the Medicube Mini Booster Pro Plus around my eyes and the Medicube Booster Pro for the rest of my face, mostly because they feel nice more than because I’m chasing a specific result.
I make dinner, something simple enough that it doesn’t add stress to a day that already had plenty. I spend a few minutes with my cat, the kind of unstructured time that doesn’t look like anything if you were watching from outside. I scroll through social media for a while, not with any real purpose, just to let my mind unclench a little. Sometimes I browse online for nothing in particular.
None of this is special. None of it would make a compelling before and after. It’s the same handful of small things most nights, done in roughly the same order, without much thought behind any of it.
That’s actually what makes it feel real to me. Not the parts that would look good written down, but the parts that are just mine, repeated quietly, night after night. Tiny and unremarkable and human.
Consistency was never supposed to be impressive. It was just supposed to be true.
